Okay, so Jenna told you all about BEDA. I'll elaborate a little I guess. So, we're both going to be posting everyday, not every other. However, Jenna will be on a trip during a part of the month, and may not be able to post, so I'm just going to have to work overtime on those days!
So, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey came out on DVD today. OMG CAN I JUST GEEK OVER LITTLE THINGS I DIDN'T NOTICE IN THE THEATER FOR A BIT? Like how the trolls turn to stone in EXACTLY the position in The Hobbit: AUJ as in The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring or how much better they made the orcs look compared to The Lord of the Rings. Just little things, little details that make my geek heart rejoice. I plan on doing nothing but watching it over and over an over all day tomorrow to find every tiny detail I can, as I am on Spring Break right now.
Next up, San Francisco. Because I am on Spring Break, I am going to San Fran (hopefully) on Thursday. I may post pictures, it depends on if I get any good ones. I plan on seeing the Golden Gate Bridge (duh), eating chocolate (another duh), and eating Chinese food (duuuuh). I also want to see an opera, but my sisters aren't too keen on the idea... Oh, well, to each their own, I suppose.
And finally, Magic: The Gathering. Oh dear, Magic. When I moved here I really didn't know what to expect of the people here. I honestly had no idea. So when I found a group of people who seemed (relatively) normal, I was happy to stick with them. Well, then, they started playing Magic: The Gathering. At first, it was kinda fun to watch, and I'd sometimes borrow my boyfriend's deck and I'd play, too, but it's spiraling out of control. It's everyday, every chance they get, they pull out their decks and it's starting to make people mad at each other. My best friend and I are trying to convince them to tone it down, but we don't want to have them turn on us. So yeah, not good. Oh, well, it could always be worse. They could play strip poker. ;)
