Jenna: WARNING, This Post is a Bit of a Downer

I am gonna rant about how bad today was even though no one actually cares. This is just a warning, if you don't wanna read that kinda thing.

Well, today kinda sucked. Pretty much from the beginning. I woke up and started getting ready for school... at 5.40 AM. I hate mornings. My mom, who normally drops me off at my grandparents' house before school, had to be at work earlier today. Mornings are not my best time. So, today I was a bit sluggish after having my sleep cut short. I picked up my ipod to check the weather, because Virginia weather has been on a roller coaster ride recently.
It. Wouldn't. Connect. To. The. Internet. This was within about 10 minutes of my awakening and abandonment of my warm blanket ball. I was not in the mood to have Internet issues, but Internet issues I was having. I did the logical thing and asked my dad if he did something to the WiFi without mentioning it.
HE PUT A FREAKING TIMER ON IT. He said it would come back on at 6. So, I waited. I futzed around my room until it was well after 6. It still wouldn't connect. By this time it was getting close to the time I had to be out of the house, so I just put on a t-shirt and jeans and went to look for my coat. It decided to take a trip to Narnia and was no where to be found. My dad, continuing his unhelpful streak of the morning, told me I had to hurry up. It was only slightly above freezing and I still didn't have my coat, so I told my mom to just go. All the crap happening and I was still worried about her being late. I finally found my coat in the laundry room.
TIME JUMP
Lunch is my third period class of the day at about 10.40. I have gotten used to this ridiculously early lunch. When Skye lived over here, she shared this lunch with another friend and me. This friend shall remain unnamed. Friend has recently been very involved in our school's production of Les Mis. She's a background character and working on hair and makeup. She has been spending every lunch this week up in the theater room AKA the Black Box, I think. She hasn't actually mentioned it. We haven't actually talked all that much recently. So, I sat all alone in the cafeteria left to my thoughts. It sucked.
SHORTER TIME JUMP
Fifth period is Algebra 2. We had a homework quiz today and, since math is one of my best subjects, I wasn't worried about time. I looked at the quiz and entire head went blank. I got a little more than half done when the bell rang. Our teacher has a policy that we have to finish a quiz the day we start the quiz. I told the student teacher I'd come back during seventh period, creative writing. During 6 and 8 I have orchestra and AP human geo. Two of my most "not-allowed-to-miss" classes. I walk into my creative writing class and... we have a guest speaker. Not allowed to leave if there's a guest speaker. By this point, I just gave up on having something that even kinda resembles a good day. I couldn't finish my quiz after school because (A) it's Friday and (B) my mom was waiting for me outside. I didn't know why she was there, but I didn't really care. She did one of the few things that could have made today better.
We went to see a movie. The Croods to be exact. This movie was amazing. I laughed and cried and d'awwwww-ed. I highly recommend it. Another big success for Dreamworks. Then we came home.
TIME JUMP TO NOW
The WiFi still isn't working. No ipod or laptop. So I am using the box and monitor that I haven't touched since we moved. It has a cable connecting it to the router, so it still works. Mehhhhhhh.
Okay. Pity party over. Here! Have a Jack Frost! <3

DFTBA
